Yes Farish does seem to be favouring the LMS at the moment for their choices of steam locos. I assume that this is because of the tender drive they've got helps in lowering the overall costs of developing a new loco. I would say they again shared components would be the reason for the 2-6-2 tank engines as well.

Just think though, if they've made this many LMS or LMS derived locos due to one tender drive unit, how many LNER locos are we going to get once they make a new drive for the LNER Group Standard Tender!!!???

Deltic sounds good, shame is not my period of modelling but I might just have to get one anyway!

Keeping disappointment a bay and fingers crossed!

No A3 or A4? Does that mean a replacement is imminent?

I remember the old 08 was quietly withdrawn a year or two before the new one arrived.
And both the A3 & A4 need replacing with better models (the GWR guys say the same about the Farish GWR 4-6-0s)

Its not only the 'big' boys (Farrish) that use the same tender for thier models, Uncle Collin gets the most from his castings.
