This is fine, but as boomer myself (63 and still working) I find the attitude and manners of some of the 'grey nomads' a bit hard to take - for example, the overweening assertion of 'entitlement', highly assertive use of walking frames and scooters, a certain overall loudness and a kind of forced jolliness at all times.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not at all in favour of us oldies creeping around meekly and mildy (we have to stand up for ourselves, no one else will), but at times I am depreessd at how our generation is turning out in its 'golden years' and somewhat worried about the example we are setting, and with what consequences.

They're probably just glad to still be alive-i know i will be if i make 65plus!!My father,who is 72 this year,says the best bit about mornings now is waking up!!!
