I am in the process of converting Hornby coke hopper wagons into NER P4 coal hoppers. I know they are slightly wrong dimension wise but I am getting passable results. I am on my third conversation and they are improving. I need to know if anyone can give me some sample number ranges for early 1920's to LNER days.

Thanks for the reply Mick b. I assume this is from the later Tatlow book? I do have the earlier book but that only has a drawing of the P4. But no numbers, I may have to resort to making them up.

Good morning all
I have converted a Slaters P7 into a P4. It requires sides and ends lowering and a piece cut from the sides and floor.
There is also a coke hopper similar to the P4 with side doors.

I have built one from the 51L model range. Their instructions list a wide range of numbers.
