Just to let everyone know that I have begun a new page of b/w photos, from Cambridge in the early 1950s, as an addition to my spotting log website at
https://spottinglogs.co.uk/Cambridge
The photos were taken by the late Colin Major, and are now in my collection. Sadly, not all are great quality, but the historical interest of 70 years ago outweighs the resolution in a lot of cases in my opinion. I have more, which be added as time permits.
Cameras and film were expensive in those days, and I am amazed Colin managed to take as many as he did; although I believe he may have developed and printed his own negatives.
