B17 breaks Cover

Post by silverfox »

Sometime ago i decided to build a live steam 5in gauge B17

Following greenglade conversion of JCT lamps, i shamelessly copied his work and bought 4 here are the results
1 as purchased
2 after converting to working lights The blue one will be used to confuse a lot of people as it used over the RH buffer beam with the normal smokebox one to denote a Jazz service Liverpool St to Enfield Town ( my local line growing up) No chance of a B17 EVER appearing on that!!!
3 very pretty in the dark!
So there is the front and the back!!

Now to start on the bit in between
