Airfeilds on railways

Post by Tom Quayle »

I find that by using 1:72 scale large aircraft in the forground on a layout a good effect can be found I do alot of aircraft kits and this gives me some where to display them but there is one thing though 3 of my favorite planes are the wrong era (Avro shackleton, Vulcan and Victor) but a Wellington, Whitley and halifax work as do Bleniems and Beufighters which I find are the best for these perpous. Does anyone else have and airfeild on there railway and if so what planes do you like as I have built a few in my time modelling
