Mid Hants Autumn Steam Gala 25th October
One of the last major steam gala events of the year fell to the Mid Hants Railway Autumn steam gala this weekend just gone which featured four visiting GWR locomotives (plus an autocoach) alongside 3 of the resident fleet, my full 23 shots are here:

Thanks for that. Takes me back. I moved from the run down, industrial north east to rural, posh Alresford at one end of the Mid Hants. However, I hadn't yet allowed steam to become part of my railway interest. The Mid Hants was still in it's struggling 'pre-Thomas' phase and progressing slowly towards Alton. I really must get back there some time.
This unit is fitted with a tea and/or biscuit deprivation sensor.
