NYMR Guest Locos

Post by Jammie667 »

NYMR have announced the first two visiting locomotives of the 2006 calendar. They are:
GWR 4-4-0 'City Of Truro' from 24th April - 22nd May
LNWR 0-8-0 G2 'Super D' from 1st May - 21st July.
Both are expected to be at the spring steam gala, so that will be an exciting weekend. I am looking forward to it, hope to see many of you there.

Also:
Another visiting steam loco will also be announced soon.

James :)

I know last railtour I went to see was 45407 over copy pit arguably the most reliable engine in preservation. Proves a point about the Riddles version but there both exelant shame that we cannot get a pair double headed on the North bound summit Conferance lol

Are you referring to a cab ride or just go in the cab Tom?

I was in the cab of Duchess of Sutherland last year on York Station, just after it worked York-Leeds-Carlisle-Leeds-York. My first go in a cab of a 'Live' Loco, and my God, was it warm in there!
Just wish it'd been moving really..over Ribblehead!
