No, nothing to do with Monty Python I'm afraid.

But a 1930s-ish official Japanese 'Ministry'-type 30-minute film (in two 'youtube' halves), principally about mechanical and powered signalling, but some reasonable steam footplate action also.

But, talk about regimented ! .....

The many similarities which may be spotted between the depicted equipment and methods, and British practice, are I suspect, not coincidental :shock: .
It's in Japanese of course, but there's little problem in working out whats going on.
