LNER 0-6-4 Tank Locomotives

The 0-6-4T was a development of the 0-6-2T design, enabling a greater capacity of coal and water to be carried. The LNER never developed the arrangement, and only inherited a total of thirteen 0-6-4Ts from the Lancashire Derbyshire & East Coast Railway (LD&ECR) via the Great Central Railway, and London Transport.
