I like it Richard but like you said get rid of the menu as a footer.

That sub-menu was there in the original - it allows you to navigate to the sub-sections of the article after reading the page. So I'm going to keep it - I just don't like the formatting and/or colour of it! I've suggested to the designer that we have a different colour, less 'dull blue', and/or two colour with an outline.
