Coaches Section

Post by karlrestall »

Richard,

How about a section on the coaches of the LNER. Similar to your comprehensive pages about the locomotives, as there is little information on these master pieces  (Or if there is it's scattered about all over the web.)

:-) It is a good idea, and rolling stock has been suggested before.

The way to do it, might be in groups according to the type or batch/era
"Restaurant Cars" or 'Gresley Teaks'.

Wagons will probably be by type - eg. a page for 'steel mineral wagons' that covers all variants.

Something for the future though. The current priority is to finish the locos, and I hope to do this by the end of the year. Then I'd like a major re-styling of the site. I also feel I need to go through the loco pages 'standardising' them and adding extra info (eg. liveries). This latter standardising process will probably be in parallel with other additions such as 'articles' and 'rolling stock'.
