Just a quick enquiry. Why do I get this message every time I come to this forum?

Could it be that your browser is set to clear all cookies, caches, etc each time you close it down?

Therefore it is deleting the one that tells the site that you are a registered user, and you have to log on each time just to install that info on your computer?

(Forgive me if that is complete nonsense in computer terms - I am a good example of a little knowledge being a dangerous thing - but I do try).

Thanks for those suggestions SS. Nope, nothing's set to clear cookies, etc. This is the only site where this occurs - other forums open up just fine. Cheers.

Clearly you can read them - so are you then logging in? I suspect you've deep linked in, and you are being logged out.

Thanks, Richard. Deep linked . . . not heard that before, but re-signing in opened up the page okay this time. Cheers.

"Deep link" - a link deep into the website. Ie. you bookmarked a web page that required you to be logged in.
