W1 Hush Hush Livery

Post by karlrestall »

Does anyone know what livery the W1 was put into after she was rebuilt? Was it Garter Blue, like the class that she was rebuilt to resemble or Apple Green to match other express passenger locomotives or the period?

Garter Blue, Karl, as per the A4s at that time.

Very nice model there Mick; just one point did it actually get LNER Garter Blue between 1945 and 1948? Or have you used some modellers licence?
