Does anyone know what livery the W1 was put into after she was rebuilt? Was it Garter Blue, like the class that she was rebuilt to resemble or Apple Green to match other express passenger locomotives or the period?

Very nice model there Mick; just one point did it actually get LNER Garter Blue between 1945 and 1948? Or have you used some modellers licence?

100% authentic !!
She recieved Garter Blue and Chrome numbers in December 1946 and carried them into BR days
