G5 driving wheel balance weights

Post by markindurham »

My Dave Alexander G5 is now complete bar the final touch - correct location of the balance weights. I'm back out in the Far East on my ship, and sans my copy of Yeadons, as I was weight-restricted for the flight and thought that it would be dead easy to find a couple of pics on t'interweb. How wrong I was :( I wonder if anyone can either give me a good link or put up a photo or two please. Many, many thanks in advance.

Thanks, Mick. Appreciated. Still looking for a good side on photo of a real one though - most shots were 'classic 3/4 view' though, it appears :(

I'm not sure if these will help, the first image is from the G5 Locomotive company site, the second from "Newton News", and the last pair are from Mike Morant's exceptional online collection.
