Hi.
I am trying to locate a photograph of NER / LNER class F8 no.537, which was withdrawn from Whitby shed in 1930 - can anyone help?

Evil bay is probably your best bet ive just located a pic of a N10 at Tweedmouth. Go to Collectibles, then Transportation, then Railwayana and finally type NER and scroll usually about 17 pages worth of loco pics.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.

Have you tried contacting NERA to see if they have a photo in their collection?

Good idea. There's all those publications in the Ken Hoole Study Centre at North Road, Darlington to go through too. Trouble is, it's VERY easy to get distracted... :(
