Good news via a email I received today,re the NELPG J27. A successful steam test has been done and they hope to have her running next month .

I was acquainted last May with the cost of repair/renewal of leaf springs for just one wheel on this loco and learned that it has quite frequently suffered breakages of these on the NYMR. Sobering information
