G'Day Gents
I've posted a picture of a GN 4 plank wagon and have badly circled the bottom of the door, can anyone tell me if this is a pipe hinge, ?
As I've got a couple to finish.

Re: GN 4 plank
Looking at Tatlow, it looks like a half round batten between the hinges, presumably to fill the gap and make it easier to run sack barrows or similar in and out of the wagon.

Yes, it is a half round batten, and it was used because the hinges didn't fully support the weight of the door so the door would catch on the edge of the floor when being closed.

Thank you, I'll glue a bit of brass wire across the bottom of the door.
