4472 livery question, late 30's

I'm not sure, I have looked at the close-up pictures that I took in 2016...under the paint you can see what looks like flush rivets around the middle of the arc, perhaps 6 - 8 in number..whether these are original is an unknown....I have tried to blow up 30's images with little success...they do look like there may be the same type of fixings as today but I can only see smudges, nothing high enough in resolution to be certain...to date my replies from NRM have not been fruitful...:( although I haven't asked this particular question as of yet...
