The LNER Encyclopedia

Anybody have any idea what colour(s) an A5 cab interior would have been painted in LNER days? From pictures of other tank classes I would guess at white/cream, but would that have also been applied to the cab rear / bunker, or would that have been black ?

I can't speak for the A5 class but can say that the A1/3 cab interiors were painted great northern green, IIRC 'Dark great Northern green', the tender front coal wall was also painted in this colour...
