I've set up a Fotopic gallery for my photographs of the East Coast main line taken mostly between 1957 and 1968 when I was living in north London. Places like Hadley Woods, Hornsey and Wood Green were almost like home from home for me and many others.

I cannot claim any special photographic merit or rarity for these pictures. Among them are some of the very first railway pictures I ever took, looking through the tiny viewfinder of a Box Brownie camera which meant that you couldn't see the train coming and timing when to press the shutter was a matter of pure luck. Anyway, hopefully the images may be of interest to other people. At least they can be seen, which is better than leaving them stashed away in my archives and possibly eventually lost.
