Parcel Vans

Post by Poppleton76 »

I wonder if anyone could identify a parcel van that I saw in the '50's. High up on the sides of the van, not on the roof, were long narrow windows that allowed light in but you had to be tall to see out of them. The van had a door through to the passenger coach.

That could describe almost any Gresley brake vehicle built over the course of 40 years, I'm afraid.

Maybe you could Google and see if you find anything which resembles it?

If you go to the Rolling Stock section of this webpage you will find a non passenger rolling stock section. In there you will find info on the Dia245 BGP which is what you are after.
