K2's on The M & GN east of South Lynn after 1953

i would be grateful if any members could enlighten me on this subject.It seems possible that Colwick locos could have been used east of South Lynn on both freights and excursions.The locos that arrived at South Lynn were transferred away to South Lincs in 1953.

There were a total of 6 K2's posted to South Lynn post WW2
61738 47-51 went to Colwick until scrapped 58
61742 47-52 went first to March then various other Ex GN until scrapped 62
61743 47-51 went first to March then Lincoln, Boston scrapped 59
61748 47-53 went first to Lincoln then Boston, scrapped 59
61757 48-51 went first to March then Boston, scrapped 59
61766 48-52 went first to Boston and others scrapped 61

Not sure whatever you need, but HTH
There are a couple of books about post war MGN, but so far not found my copies.

Until the MGN closed in 1959, it is certain that excursions from Nottingham, or Derby might well have been hauled
by Colwick locos as far as Great Yarmouth.

Whatever was available and capable would have been used.
