Royal train household saloons

Post by Cutter »

Are any drawings available for the four ex GNR saloons used by the household in the LNER Royal train? I know they were 57' stock and that their internal arrangements varied, but that is about it. Sources focus on the Royal saloons and i have found nothing in the Isinglass catalogue. Thanks.

The GNR built vehicles were all 1st Class Saloons 58' 6" body length:
1280 Diagram 6A, 1281 Diagram 6, 3099 Diagram 4, 3100 Diagram 5.
The NRM drawing list shows only GA drawings for 3099 (Drg No 670 on Roll 251) and 3100 (Drg 475 on Roll 251)

I have copies of the diagrams and photographs of the GAs if they are of use.
Please pm me and I can send them with a file transfer.

Kind regards
