EM1/Class 76 DC Electric Names
Does anyone have any information regarding names for the above locos. I know which ones where named but can only find pictures of green named locos. Did any carry names in black or Rail Blue liveries. I know other than Tommy these where BR locos but had it not been for the war I think a few more would have come out as LNER.

Named engines were built Aug.1952-Aug.1953.

Does the book contain info on works numbers for individual locos and exact date of build? I am trying to research for a model and would like to have some worksplates made up and maybe nameplates.
Does anyone out there have any photos of EM1/76 worksplates and nameplates. I stupidly forgot my camera last time I was at the NRM. Is there anyone who could visit the museum and post photos of worksplates?
