LNER 4 wheel long Based NPCC

Post by snwright »

Please forgive me if this request has been made before, but I am building some 2mm scale Models of the Ex LNER 4 wheel Long wheel based NPCC. I know that in the Late 1930's the LNER Built 60 and BR in the early 1950's a further 59. I am extremley interested in the Livery carried by these NPCC in the following periods.- to 1960, from 1960 to 1970 and from 1970 to the point where they where withdrawn from service. I know there used to be a preserved example on the Keithley and Worth Valley Railway. Any member of this forum who is able to assist me on this matter is most appreciated.

Try Historic Carriage Drawings V3 in which there is a drawing and several photos. They were still running in Blue livery up until the late 70's.

There is 'stuffed' example in LNER livery at the Monkwearmouth site.
