They are all impresive pictures. I makes me wonder if it was a bomb or a 1000 pdr mine that destroyed the loco. The main piture looks like the loco was blown sideways causing the center drivers too be detached. But yes this is just speculation. Anyone on the site have any knowlage on the Lufftwaffe bombs & sizes ? Or will it make a good diorama/model ! just a few thoughts.

Either melted or blown, as the cab and centre wheels have gone, but we don't know the extent of the bombing do we?
did it simply fall over and land on it's side, or did it get thrown some distance. A simulation would be great showing it from it's starting place to landing spot, and I belive they never found the centre wheels, or the other name plate!
