Flying Scotsman fitted out for USA - Youtube

Post by John B »

Richard,

I remember you were interested in seeing photos of FS with her USA fittings, here's a little something on Youtube that may interest you.

There is a stack of LNER and BR and preserved railways stuff on here, it's a veritable goldmine.

Sorry Ben, I had yet another senior moment

Here's the link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1S5oicBZtp8

Cheers

John

Thanks John - that would have been very useful!

I did "Americanize" my Flying Scotsman but now it doesn't run very well - the cowcatcher is too delicate, for instance. The water tender also still says "LNER" on it.
