That is the pattern to all the high level glazing, as far as I'm aware, but on my next visit I will check and let you all know.

Could you take your camera with you and get a better image? I am thinking of a way of photo reducing it for use with the kit. The floor pattern is another candidate for reproducing and printing.

Regarding the clerestory windows I think the pattern is the same, it is just that the windows are different lengths. Out of interest when the vehicle was being prepared for public display one of the tasks carried out by York Works was "Paint to be cleaned off clerestory glasses". Whether they were overpainted at some point of just needed tidying up is unclear at the moment.

There are definitely two different (although similar) patterns that I can see. The shorter one (used in the windows at the end and also above the double doors) is missing a whole set of flourishes in order to shorten it, and also does not have the pair of 'insect antennae' (for want of a better description!) at the ends...

Well chaps and chapesess

Here are some roof glazing pics from this lunchtime, they are the best I can get with my camera.
Pics 1 & 2 are of the large windows, the vents get in the way and on this side from the footbridge you can't get a clear view.

The roof and solebar are definitely different colours in real life. I would say the pics do not really show this but I would say the
roof is a very faded worn dark red oxide pic 3 just seems to hint at the red.

Bills model could very well be correct for a newly painted roof.
