South Yorkshireman 1948 location question

Can any one identify the location for this image please? I recently acquired the original large-format negative with full rights to use. I believe it is the northbound train and that it was taken in 1948. The train ran from Marylebone to Bradford, taking the Met & GC Joint route via Amersham. I suspect this is south of Leicester and may well be on the Met & GC joint.
