I have seen the various pieces of film footage shot on the day of a gleaming 4498 in garter blue livery proudly displaying the L.N.E.R. letters on it's tender while standing 'in steam' amongst the bomb blitz new shed in a near deserted Nine Elms with it's driver going around the motion with the oil can and also when the loco is seen on Weymouth shed being coaled on the GWR coaling stage (Weymouth was a GWR shed before being transferred to the southern region) plus a few line side shots of the loco and it's train sounding off it's chime whistle when tearing along the LSWR main line in Surrey or Hampshire which looks slightly odd in southern DC line territory.
