Would this not be occasion referred to by Mr Spencer (in March 1947), as one of the few occasions when a pre-war Gresley Pacific was indicated?
Mr Nock, in his 'Gresley Pacifics, provides a reproduction of some of the indicator diagrams at different speeds. These show the power distribution between the cylinders, and are very interesting.

The same picture is shown on the 'Green Book' Part 2A, as Fig 56 with a date in the caption of June 1931.
(Before poor Humorist was subjected to the various chimney and smoke clearing experiments.)

61 Pretty Polly has a French FASU ferry van (of the type to be seen in the NRM) behind the tender.

103 at Hadley Wood - is that a bullion van behind the loco?

Page 1 of 91 with 1470 in GNR livery is at Doncaster shed. Its home depot.

22 of 91 with 4470 is an Up train at Saltersford south of Grantham.
