It is amazing that people (presumably at or from Doncaster) managed to preserve key examples of the only coherent development path from a single design centre of UK maximum power express traction, from the Stirling single via the Ivatt small and large Atlantics, to the pacifics. I was recently told that it was 'parochial' to want this series consistently displayed as a group. Parochial to the UK yes, but there's nothing else comparable from the UK.
