Where was this tunnel?

Long gone, as can be seen by the recent photograph taken from near the original spot. Anyone like to guess the location?

Is it New Cumnock in sunny Ayrshire?

Another former GCR poser on the outskirts of Sheffield perhaps.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.

bolsover tunnel opened 1897,closed1951 and backfilled.

You found it! Well done, sir. Never explored the area myself but this was supposed to be one of the locations where the fabled 'Strategic Steam Reserve' was kept. Hope they don't want to get them out in a hurry :D :D
