Post by neildimmer » Sun Dec 20, 2009 8:04 am

Hi all

Further to the request last month to identify over 400 deltic photos, you I'D nearly 50% of them. I have removed these photos and left only the ons still needing identifying. Just over 200 of them
So can anyone help with the identities of these locos?

Yes FF Finsbury Park started the white frame fashion. My personal favourite has to be the two tone green with small yellow front end and even better if she is carrying the original golden winged thistle headboard of the 1960s.
Its strange how Neils collection seems to gravitate around certain points on the ECML and neglect other points probably due to photographers being able to reach these locations easily i would love to see some Deltics thundering through out of the way locations such as Smaefield, Ayton and some of the rarely photographed northen regions.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.
