Lovely photographs Neil, one and all :)

However - that last photograph shows a Peppercorn A2, and not a Thompson A2 - it therefore can't be 60522.

Neil,
Great Northern at KX : From its position and direction facing, looks like she's bringing a train towards the east side of the station (platforms 1-5).

Dante ('Unknown') : Looks pretty much like on the Down Slow nearly halfway between New Barnet and Greenwood.

Tehran : Leaving Hadley Wood North Tunnel on the Down Fast, at Ganwick.

Owen Tudor: Can't be too sure, but I think, on the up side, south end of Doncaster station.

Thanks for the photos Neil. The old proofreader in me spotted that 60502 Earl Marishal should be Earl Marischal. Also, I agree with Stevie G on Dante between New Barnet and Greenwood, and Steve has Tehran's location right, too. Oh, and pic. #85328 (Wolf of Badenoch) is wrongly listed as Edward Thompson in the A2/3 section. Old Ted must've shunted off somewhere :D

Cheers.

Hi Neildimmer, here is a picture of 60501 taken in 1960 at Doncaster Plant on the scrap road waiting to be broken up. The nameplates have been removed but luckily the smokebox numberplate was still in situ, hope this helps.

Hi, here's a shot of A2/3 60516 "Hycilla" heading north out of Durham 1958/9. Apologies for the poor quality, couldn't afford a decent camera as a teenager.

Here's another I've just found, 60517 "Ocean Swell" just crossing slow to main heading north with mixed empty stock at Newton Hall 1958/9
