Very nice pictures I like them a lot, I also like the angles.
Is it all right if people can check out my video of Railfest?

Thanks :) some of the photos were quite hard to get due to the crowds. I like your video :)

There are some really great photos there Blackout! I particularly like the front view of Flying Scotsmam, and it hides the fact that a lot of it was missing too... Cheltenham's looking good too, hopefully I'll be able to see it in action once it returns to the Mid-hants (My local preserved line), they've really done a great job on it's restoration.

Yes I know what you mean. When I was filming the big reveal of Flying Scotsman, some kids were walking/standing in front. Took me about ten takes to get it right. And even then I only got it thanks to the parents telling them to walk behind me. :roll:
I also think the music used in the video really does some up how I felt at Railfest :lol:
Your pictures are really unique, especially the City of Truro one :wink:

Thanks :) The hardest one to get was that of Cheltenham. There were people all over her

Really?
On Saturday the were more cleaners around Cheltenham than tourists. Probably more Southern fans when you went, I didn't mind if there were crowds in my shots, that kind of shows the essence of Railfest the people. Though I was annoyed if they blocked what I was trying to snapshot.
For me the highlight was blowing the whistle on SNG and Tornado, think I made half the crowd deaf judging by the way most of them jumped at the sound. :mrgreen:

That shot took of Chetenham took two days to get. Unfortunately 60163 wasn't in steam on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. But the highlights for me were;

Cabbing everything open to the public and getting in the engine room of the HST

Blowing City of Truro's whistle and Sir Nigel's whistle

Getting cab rides on Hawk, D6700 and City of Truro

Getting to drive City of Truro from the end of South Yard till just past where 6229 was sat - Best experience of my life :D
