LNER Wagons Vol. 2 has just been published

Post by richard »

Peter Tatlow writes:
Wild Swan have published Volume 2 of my series on LNER wagons (ISBN 978 1 895184 34 7), just in time for the Warley exhibition. I am not sure of the price, but £30 to £35.

Hope you will find it worthwhile.

Regards

Peter Tatlow
As my copy of Vol. 1 arrived two days ago and I'm intending to model NER with my O stuff, I know what I'll be ordering this morning... :-)

For those who haven't seen Vol.1 it is literally a different book to the one volume work. The coverage of wagons is much much better, and there's more in the way of text, diagrams, etc. Having just constructed a circa-1887 Slaters Gloucester PO wagon, I found the discussion of brake evolution useful confirmation of how I chose to build the brakes + lever.
