Obviously not many real ale fans here? The York Tap has taken on a life of it's own and is packed on some nights. I just wish I had bought shares in it
BTW they have a beer called Aquitane which is 8% ABV !

Ay up!
Real ale? That's me! However, I am in a foreign land called Wolverhampton.
They don't even give you bits on chips here y'know....

If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!
Re: York Tea Rooms
I've never been into real ale (sorry) but I now go there instead of Coopers. It has more of a "real pub" feel although it can get a bit lively at times! I only wish I had taken photo's inside when it was Collectors Corner.
Re: York Tea Rooms
I finally got round to taking a couple of photographs!

Try the Black Country Living Museum for both chips with bits AND real ale. I'm there doing a ww1 event in March, can't waitBlink Bonny wrote:Ay up!

They have a beer in the Tap which is FIFTEEN percent ABV but it is only sold as a half at £5! I wouldn't advise drinking too much of that52D wrote:Was going to call in on last friday but the connection didn t leave me enough time, im partial to some real ale.

I have and they're excellent. At £8 in, the ol' wallet goes for me when I even think of it!
