Would be great to see 1310 and 985 together some time - anyone know if they have ever met in preservation?

Bless - reminds me of the old Tri-ang Nellie. I always wanted to see it in steam and never did until recently.

Middleton Railway - keep up the good work!

BB istr that Nellie was based on an LSWR design. The class had been made from redundant railmotor power units.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.

Ah, that explains Nellie's large dome.

Still, not unlike a Nellie to the 6 year old when he first saw her. Funnily enough, my Nellie vanished shortly afterwards...

Took me 30 years to get another. This time in Somerset and Dorset blue. (deep sigh)

G'Day Gents

BB, probably wouldn't take to much work to turn it into a Y7, take off the dome, chop the back off and shorten the chassis a bit, it would give a passable loco, if you turned around and squinted !!!!
