Stainmore 150th weekend

Post by Rlangham »

Some lovely photographs of the Stainforth 150th weekend at Kirkby Stephen East station - lots of NER and LNER interest, 910 with the NER coach in the NER station look fantastic, as does the J21 and snowplough

Thanks for posting the link. There are some very nice photos one there. I haven't had chance to download my camera and have a look at my photos from yesterday yet.
I'm not sure if anyone else attended the Stainmopre 150 event on this forum. There was certainly a lot of visitors present when we were there. It would be interesting to know how many visitors came over the long weekend -quite a few I imagine. I thought it was a very well organized event - well worth the 160 mile drive return trip from York.

See NER Snowplough 18 thread for some photos.

Could the original poster check the title as I thought it was Stainmore.
