Lincolnshire Archives would like to make you aware of two upcoming events we are holding that may be of interest to you. First is 'Deposited Plans as a Source for Transport History'. The event will consist of a short talk by historian Rob Wheeler followed by a chance to view specimens. It is being held on Friday 7 September 2.30pm-4.00pm and pre-booking is essential. Telephone 01522 782040

Second is an Exhibition on Lincolnshire Railways. This exhibition will examine how railways have helped to shape the county’s history and will include maps, architects’ drawings, plans of locomotives and photographs of trains, tracks and railway accidents. The event is on 24th November 10.30am - 3pm.Booking not required. Both events are free of charge.
