Hello just wondering if any of you can help me, I've came across what I think is a train plaque which says
LNER
Standard 12ton
1926
Doncaster
151068
It would be great if anyone can give me more information about it.
Many thanks

Re: 1926 doncaster standard 12ton
Hallo Ryan,
It's a builders plate from a wagon. Without checking it's hard to say what wagon as 12 tons was a very common capacity at that time. It might be a van or an open. I expect someone with access to that information will let you know exactly what it was.
How did you come by it?

Do you have any idea of worth to a collector? As I'm going to be looking at selling it.
Re: 1926 doncaster standard 12ton
It was on a 12 ton covered goods van to LNER wagon diagram 14. On the 1927 programme but built in 1928. One of a batch of 250 vehicles.
