Don't think 4469 was named 'Herring Gull' when it was bombed. 4469 was named 'Sir Ralph Wedgewood' at the time, and that name was transferred to 4466 'Herring Gull'.
Out for a duck perhaps?
But I never understood why there was a 'Seagull' (4902) and a 'Herring Gull' (4466) at the same time, or should 4902 have been 'Black Headed Gull', or better 'Greater Black Backed Gull' but there wasn't room on the smokebox?

This should clear up any confusion (from this site)

Optics up the spout or dyscalculia?
Spotter's list revised, master, 4772 clip.jpg
Looks like 4772 to me, not 4472

I'm delighted by the diversity of stock and I understand space and running limits, but no Green Arrow? ( As far as I'm aware from the list on this small IPhone screen ) Surely she could be shoehorned into one corner on static?

Wasn't she allocated to King's Cross and diagrammed exclusively to work the Scotch goods as far as Peterborough (only) during our period? Hence wouldn't be seen at Grantham in the normal course of events....

(Atlantic 3279 - quick! we need an excuse as to why the P1 made the list in that case....)

Do bear in mind the 'rider' at the bottom of the description - anything may turn up on the day :D
