Welcome to the forums.

I think it is a bit cheeky to put this "news" as a link to you own photo post, rather than a link to Didcot's own announcement - which also has all the pertinent details.

Note that I am also starting a new "no single link posts without content" rule. I'll describe this more fully in the announcements. We have had a slowly growing problem of people posting links without any descriptive text. Eg. links to newspaper articles. Without a description, there is no way to know what it is about without clicking on the link. Also, over time, links do die.

Really looking forward to this - I'll be heading back to Hampshire after the NERA AGM so finances depending would make a very good stop off on the way home. Never had much interest in the A4's until relatively recently. Unexpectedly bumping into 'Bittern' at York about to leave to go to Shildon a few weeks ago definitely helped!

Quite a unique event - grateful for the tip off!

Never thought the King looked great in blue but SNG and Tornado certainly do.

The above link is the A1SLT's reporting of the news, personally I like the title of 'once in a blue moon!!!'

I am so glad that its finally gone public, I was aware of this nearly a year ago but unable to let on

Unfortunatly I will not be attending as work commitments wont allow

Worth remembering there's a discount price before 30th March, so fairly late notice for those (like me!) who aren't 100% if they can make it until nearer the event. All sounds rather exciting, plus hopefully the GWR diesel railcar in action (which I've never seen)

Actually, scratch that, just been on to the ticket web site and the booking fee almost wipes out the discount
