You've been busy Phil. How long did it take you to become familiar enough with Tinkercad to draw something like that?

Tinkercad is very easy to use so the leaning curve is very slight. In many ways is designed for kids. I have managed to do a whole load of wagons relativity quickly, far less time than learning something like Blender. The downside is its limitations when it comes to complex curved shapes. A GNR tender for example is still defeating me and may not be possible.

Jessie I don't have the capacity to print and sell them but am happy to share cad files for free.

Yep got it. Will dig out the files over the weekend and send over. Aside from the fridge van I have drawn up and printed:
GNR 4 plank open
GNR fitted van (two types of doors and ends)
Conflat S
NER 4 wheel CCT

And am currently halfway through a LNER fitted open but progress is a bit slower.

Those are great looking prints Phil. I am just starting out in 3D and trying to learn Fusion360. Hopefully I can produce something half as good by the end of next year. So far I have not progressed past various types of vents, including ones to convert Ratio BR banana van bodies to the earlier LMS versions. I have also been co-operating with Sascha Freudenberg on some meat containers. When I say co-operating Sascha is doing all the hard work with the 3D drawings and I have supplied some info and feed back on his test prints. He has drawn up a great range so far. PM me and I can send you some pics. I have only just joined the board so am not yet able to PM and post pics.
Best wishes for Christmas and happy modelling over the festive period.
Stephen

Finally got round to finishing a few of my 3d printed wagons. These ones are all fitted examples to use in an express goods.
All drawn in Tinkercad and printed on a Elegoo Mars. The only exception is the container with is RTR.

Also a NER CCT

I have a few of each and a couple of other designs I haven't finished yet.

Those all look great Phil. You can put one of Sasch'a designs on that conflat S. I think the NER CCT is superb, they all are, but I have a thing for NPCSS and that would look great going through Carlisle.

Just out of cuiosity, does the insulated van come all in one piece or is the chassis separate? If the latter it would be useful under a lot of other bodies. I do like to mix and match bodies and underframes to produce more variety. Alas, even with 3d printing, I have too many wagon ideas and not enough time to build them all.

Thanks. I will sort getting over STL files to you!
All the chassis and bodies are one piece when printed but I can separate them on the computer to reuse bits. Buffers are printer separate as are vacuum pipes. Roofs are also separate parts with separate ventilators on the GNR vans.

These GNR open framed van bodies are from STLs created by Mike Trice (thanks!). The chassis are from my own design.
