EE1 and EF1 information please!

Post by cabbage »

I am trying to build a model of EF1. The only instructional and constructional information that I have is a photostat of the original article dated 1927 by R.W Dunn. Before anyone has an (!) moment this is a Gauge 3 model i.e. 13.5mm to the foot. I have translated the imperial dimensions from the original article to metric and built most of it from plywood and plastic sheeting. The power bogies are under construction, and the loco should run quite happily on its lead acid batteries.

I now have the problem of turning a 1927 style model into something that looks like it is "period"... In short I need drawings and photos!!!

The next locomotive that I am planning to build is EE1 -of which I have three photos.

Any information gratefully received!!!

regards
