F5 Dimensions

Post by shildonboy »

I bought a 3D printeded chassis for an F5 to fit a scratchbuilt body I purchased from another modeller. The body is shorter than the chassis. Not sure which is correct - if either are. Does anyone have the main dimensions I can use to check these out

The best check dimension is 31ft 9ins over buffer beam faces.

Frames = 5ft 3 ins from front buffer beam face to centre of leading carrying wheel; then 7ft 6ins + 8ft 0ins coupled wheelbase + 7ft 6ins; 3ft 6ins from centre of trailing carrying wheel to rear buffer beam face

Superstructure = c/l of funnel 3ft 1ins from front buffer beam face.
