Have just returned from the UK with one of these products which got a 'highly commended' from a letter to the editor in a Hornby magazine issue in May.
I'd be grateful (to avoid any potential damage to any of my DCC decoder fitted locos) if someone could advise if the locos are just placed on this gadget which sits on the track and irrespective of DC or DCC the cleaning process starts. According to a Hornby magazine article when the loco is placed on the live brushes 'the wheels begin to turn and the cleaning process is underway'. I have tried a (DCC fitted) tank loco but no power seemed to transmit through to the wheels. Does this suggest the loco's address should be entered to get the process started?
