GNR 10mm Transfers ?

Post by norfolkrover »

Does anyone know where I can purchase the transfers for a gauge one 1/29 scale GNR 1744 N2 tank engine please ? Also I am struggling to find out what two tones of green were used as well to ensure an accurate paint job.Thanks.

I am not sure about transfers, but the Precision Range of paints covers both the light and dark greens used of GN stock before 1923.

Try their website.

I know that Guilplates do GNR loco transfers in 4mm and 7mm scales. Might be worth asking them:

Thanks I live near Pete Sporer and spoke to precision paints at the fosse model engineers exhibition this year. Will try guillplates although a specialist lining job now looks likely.
